Pharm D

The Pharm.D. professional program is only one step, albeit a required one, in the process of becoming a registered pharmacist. The other steps include preparation for college study, admission to college, completion of the Pre-Pharmacy requirements, and after completion of the Pharm.D.

Admissions

Any one can join this program with minimum qualification of 10+2 (Science - Biology or Mathematics). PCI will continue its B.Pharm as well as M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice) program as such in future. B.Pharm and M.Pharm passed candidates can also do Pharm.D. by undergoing 6 year course framed by PCI which will mainly concentrate on clinical exposure and Pharmacy Practice.

The Pharm.D. professional program is only one step, albeit a required one, in the process of becoming a registered pharmacist. The other steps include preparation for college study, admission to college, completion of the Pre-Pharmacy requirements, and after completion of the Pharm.D.

Admissions

Submission of application form with details of marks secured in the qualifying examination. Selection will be made on the merit based on marks secured in Qualifying examination B.Pharm in relevant subjects conducted by various Boards of Authority/ University and an entrance examination. The syllabus for admission to for Pharm D. (Post Baccalaureate) course will be on the basis of questions at 3rd year and Final year of B.Pharm course in the subjects Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
